  1. "Kavinace" by Neuroscience; Holy Basil herb and vitamin D3 (the "sunlight" vitamin); "Deproloft" by Thorne Research, all good. At least 6-8 hours of sleep each day, 30 minutes of upper-body exposure to sunshine and exercise (especially yoga, which increases levels of GABA in the brain) are also good.

  2. That all depends. Since you say you have both depression and anxiety you might want to try any herbal remedy that is a sedative to lower the blood pressure. So, very cheap is camomile tea and so is melisa tea. I recommend the melisa tea. If one tea bag does not take the anxiety away, I recommend brewing more in a cup. I have once drank four melisa tea bags in a sitting, and I felt this overwhelming calmness that took over my body in a matter of seconds. Well, i got so spooked that I never did that again. You can buy melisa tea bags for $2-$5 for 20 tea bags at a Polish delicatessen. But, of course if you have depression and anxiety, you should not consume any alcohol or caffeine because those two will increase your depression and anxiety. Another thing is that the birth control pill has the undesired side effect of depression. You might want to consider opting out for another birth control method which is the wisest choice if you ask me. I went off the pill because I got so depressed; I had antisocial thoughts. Now, I feel great!
