Since USAF Security Forces training is 13 wks long in Lackland, will my family b able 2 stay on base w/ me?

  1. doubt it. you'll probably be put in a dorm. call and ask.  


  2. I don't think so, cause the training in Lackland is just temporary only. You may wanna wait until you go on active duty where you'll stay for few years then have your family move there with you.

  3. No, not while you're in training.  You can have them stay off base at a motel, but the government will not pay for it.

  4. Who ever your commanding officer or Sargent could help out with information.

    If your active duty it may be possible to have them in on base housing.  

  5. I doubt it. Most training is considered a temporary assignment and base housing is usually on a waiting list.

  6. Prob not but why move several times in the first 6 months, she and your sons can come visit when you know you will have a weekend off, save the money for when you move to your duty base would be the wise thing to do, congrats and thank you for serving.
