  1. This year will be extremely close. Tottenham will race to win it and The possibility of Other outsiders will think they can if Portsmouth can. Liverpool will be very good this year with Keane and the possibility of Barry and Silva. Chelsea will want to do will under Scolaris first season. Every team will go for it! it will be a very exciting Fa Cup

  2. i personally would like to see Liverpool v Man Utd and Arsenal v Chelsea in the third round then Man Utd v Arsenal in the fourth with Arsenal progressing. This would be good for the FA Cup.

  3. Its always difficult with cup competitions as the draw has a big play on it. As much as I hate to say it, Arsenal having not won a trophy in 3 years might really want to push for the FA cup, however all of the other big four always have a chance. I wouldn't rule out spurs or villa though.

  4. Well to be fair I thought last years competition was amazing. As a supporter of Liverpool I witnessed two great FA Cup ties which were full of romance and excitement. The 5-2 against Havent and also our demise to Barnsley 2-1. There were other fantastic games which produced shocks which is what the FA Cup is about. I think the Cup isnt just about the big 4 and I hope there a re more shocks this year. Well, aslong as Liverpool do well:O)

My tip to win it tho this years is Tottenham.

  5. personally i don't think last years fa cup was that good, a boring 1-0. this year its probably going to be a top 4 club, i doubt portsmouth will win it, maybe spurs, but not sure.

  6. no it was a one off ........

  7. Yes I think one of top four will reacj the final of the  F.A . Could be Arsenal.

  8. You usually find that a club outside the top 4 wins the FA Cup every 4 or 5 years, it is good for the cup that this happens IMO, but after Portsmouth winning it last year, you will probably find that the big 4 will win it for the next few.

  9. I don't think interest has ever gone to be honest... The only club which really seems to not care is Arsenal - playing reserves and kids.

However, the League Cup has really seemed to lose it's glamour in recent years (if it ever had any to begin with)

It's difficult to predict the winners/ finalists because like all other cup competitions, it's mainly down to the luck of the draw (however the FA always f*cks over United... remember the Bristol City / Aston Villa incident from earlier this year?not that it matters.. Villa Park is our second ground! ... we've gotten something like 10 Premiership sides on the trot in the FA Cup... I think 8 or so of those away ties as well.)

just a guess... but Everton vs. Newcastle with Everton winners

  10. I don't think any of the big clubs to the FA cup seriously last season. I think this year they will take it more seriously because Manchester United realized that last season if they'd had won the FA cup they would have completed another treble.
