Ok so I don't want to give t.m.i. here, but I've been a vegetarian for about a month now. I love it! My body feels great, I've never felt better my whole life! =)

Anyways the only problem I have is when I have to go to the bathroom (#2) its like I have to go that very second, no waiting 5 minutes while I finish doing something....it has to be done right then. Has this happened to anyone else, or does anyone know of a vitamin or some food I can eat to control this better?

Oh & I think the cause of it is me eating so much more greens. Anyways all advice is appreciated! =)

  1. As someone else said, eat more bananas.

Switch to whole grain or whole wheat pasta and bread.

Also pay attention if you've introduced something totally new to your diet, since it might be giving you diarrhea or looser stools.

You are probably eating a LOT more fiber and your body is much for efficient. If you look at animals that eat vegetarian diets, they do go to the bathroom much more often. Our intestines are long and designed for a plant-heavy diet, and our bodily chemistry and levels of stomach acid are optimal for plant digestion. Meat has no fiber and it does slow your digestive system down, and dairy is also known to constipate (in particular cheese). You've switched from eating foods that probably made you constipated to eating foods that make you "go".

  2. cumin can slow  you down, don't take too much or you will get clogged.

  3. Eat more bananas.

If you are using milk it is good for binding also.

Try more carbohydrate foods to get a better balance or you will end up quite skinny at this rate!
