Since everyone seems to think wwe is lacking something nowadays.?

Let's say you were in charge, creative control. You control EVERYTHING. What changes would you make.

I would immediately resign from the position because no matter what move I would make, I would be critisized to no end and everyone would be starting a petition to get me fired anyway.

I would have to bring back a real tag team division and cruiserweight division. The tag team division is lacking and slowly falling apart, while the cruiserweight division was put out. Both divisions are important and will have an effect on both the wrestlers and fans. These two divisions would bring in ratings and would have wrestlers (who are used to job or who have been released) to be part of the mid card (like) status feuding for the titles.

Pushing and working with certain talent. The wrestlers who have skills on wrestling based skills and not any other skills, I would work on them strongly with mic skills, etc. Vice versa, I would work with wrestlers who struggle with wrestling, but good on mic skills, etc. I would push the wrestlers with talents on both and who can carry the business (at the moment) and the crowd.

Balancing of the brands and storylines between the three. I would balance all three brands prior to popularity and skills. I would want crowds to take notice of all three brands and view it, while boosting up ratings for all three. Storylines would have ECW (being the less noticed brand) to start feuding with SMACKDOWN, then RAW. This would lead to the Best of All Brands battle and could work on more storylines for individual wrestlers. This can shake up attention for all three brands under the WWE and having ratings and viewings higher than now.

Last, but not least. Trusting your employees (such as your wrestlers). Enable them to have more of a move set, but having them perform it multiple times to see if they can qualify to use it in their move set. As WWE cares about safety, this will have the wrestlers use more moves that may have been banned, but you give trust to them and have them train on them more and more, until they execute it 'perfectly'. This would draw more attention to the in ring action and give more credibility to wrestlers (prior to their style of wrestling).

Edit: A mention on the balancing. New talent signing and talent from RAW and SMACKDOWN would give ECW talent in order for all this to happen. A fan base of Rey Mysterio to ECW would draw some attention to ECW. William Regal, D Lo Brown, Paul London, Brian Kendrick, and others would bring their type of unique styles of wrestling to ECW. New talent signing or members of WWE who use to wrestle would go directly to ECW.

Edit: Gimmicks. If a certain wrestler is not given a gimmick from someone and no one can think of one, we'll be subject to let that wrestler be themselves. (Example: The Rock, Stone Cold. Both wrestlers became themselves and made an explosive impact). This won't be for everyone as we can either modify a gimmick or be creative with one that hasn't been thought about. As you say "You control EVERYTHING." No backstage BS and the 'outcomes' would be probably thought out as far as what would be the best move that can transition to the next best rivalry, feud, etc. Like what's the best business move that would get the crowd going.

Oh, where to start? Lets see, Id bring back the attitude era and tell the little 10 year olds to go home if they don't like it. This would mean bringing back DX, more good old fashioned s*x, violence, and profanity along with good, provocative storylines mixed in with good wrestling. Here's a short list of other changes I would make.

1. Make Cena go back to his rapper gimmick.

2. Stop doing so many squash matches.

3. Try and sign some of the talent from ROH.

4. Push younger guys like DH Smith and Ted Dibiasie.

5. Make ECW extreme again. Fire all GM's (they have really no use anyway, their just wastes of money).

6. Make the tag team division worth something again.

7. Bring back the Hardcore and Cruiserweight champions.

8. I would put all divas on Raw and all Cruiserweights on Smackdown and ECW.

9. Give the superstars badass characters that will be memorable.

10. Make a clean yet brash superstar with great mic skills (like The Rock), and make a badass anti hero who's loved by the fans (like Stone Cold), and let them have a memorable feud for years.

First thing id do is push Kane make him main guy on Raw, Do whatever it takes to bring Stone cold back in the ring. Me personally id make cena a mid card heel and just keep him there, make ecw of old.

Get the ministry back with Taker on smack down as main heel, bring back the old wwe fans from the attitude era (which means less kids thank god)  give Regal a mayor push, infact put him on ecw.  Make the mid card titles worth something like they did in the 90s,
