  1. I have 3 children, and still haven't gotten rid of that little flap that hangs down. My children are 10, 6, and 1 month. I have lost all the pregnancy weight, but not the stretched skin. I'm not really sure it will go away for some people. My Aunt had my cousin 7 years ago, and hasn't gotten rid of it either.

Try alot of abdominal workouts, and vitamin e.

Also I found this website... hope it helps.

While losing weight can transform your body and health for the better, for those who have managed a large weight reduction it can create new problems. If weight loss has been achieved rapidly, the successful dieter can be left with loose skin, particularly around the abdomen. There are many products which claim to tighten skin, however their results are minimal. Surgery is an option in extreme cases, but before considering such a choice, it's worth following these steps.

1 Think of how long it took your body to reach your highest weight. It didn't happen overnight, so you can't really expect your skin to become taut in such a short space of time.

1 Many surgeons recommend waiting two years from the day you reach your weight loss target before even considering surgery. This allows you to exhaust all options available naturally before entering into a costly and potential dangerous operation.

2 Nourish your skin and encourage it's elasticity. Exfoliate your skin daily to encourage removal of dead skin cells. Doing this each day will stimulate your skin's circulation which should help in tightening skin up.

3 Treat yourself to a hot hour-long bath once or twice a week. While the bath is being drawn, add 1/2lb of pure sea salt to the water and allow it to dissolve. Besides relaxing your body and muscles, it will draw toxins out of your skin and will improve your overall skin tone.

4 Determine what your body fat percentage is. It's impossible to differentiate loose skin from body fat without this figure. Many gyms are able to assess your body for this.

5 While you may have reached your goal weight, it's possible that your body fat percentage is still high. In order to reduce this, you should strive to change your body's composition by reducing fat and replacing it with muscle. If you haven't done so already, speak to a gym or a personal trainer to work on an exercise plan which will help you achieve this.

6 Aloe vera extract, soy protein and yeast extract can improve your skin's elasticity by increasing your body's production of elastin and collagen. It not only tightens your skin but your skin's natural defenses as well.

7 Coconuts can help tighten your skin up!

Eating raw food such as cucumber, tomato, olives and coconut can mark an improvement in your skin's elasticity.

8 Hyaluronic Acid is naturally found in our body's tissues. It depletes over time, so it's worth supplementing your diet with some. It is critical for muscle growth, so if you're replacing pounds of fat with muscle, it's definitely worth taking. Smokers tend to be lacking this nutrient. It needs magnesium to synthesize, so ensure you're taking magnesium daily to reap its benefits.

  2. Same here!!  As much as it's a pain in the *** (literally) some crunches will help tone the belly, a good diet, maybe cut out anything that bloats you. I heard bio-oil is good for the stretch marks.  It takes some time, my son was 14 months old when I finally shed the baby pounds, (only to find out I was pregnant again!) lol My daughter's now 9 months old and I'm battling the flab once more.  Good Luck to you and to every mummy in the same situation! x*x

  3. well for me i had a baby a week ago and im back at my pre pregnancy weight, but my belly at the bottom is still squashy and i also have stretch marks... im hoping if i start working out the stretch marks will fade in time.

u will get there hun! its just a matter of time and effort. working out will help your skin go back to what it used to be and help the stretch marks fade. u can also try using lotions, but i dont think that has really worked for me... some people claim it does :]

  4. i had my daughter 10 months ago, still working on fitting into my old jeans... and i have the same problem as you. its alright at the top, and the bottom half looks like a prune, lol. ive noticed in the past few months, it getting less 'wrinkly' on its own..the only problem i have now is right above my belly button. so i hope it continues =P i posted a question similar to this on here a few months back. i was told it probably wont go away but i just have to think about what i brought into the world. corny. but it works when i feel like royal c**p about myself. anyway. good luck. :)

  5. I think it is different for everyone and there is definately no set answer. I thought the saggy skin wouldn't go but it is starting to now after a couple of months and the same applied to one of my friends after about 9 months +. one of my other friends lost it straight away.

Some people do loose the elasticity in the skin but it definately is not true for everyone. Just keep up the hard work. Just remember everyone is different and you will get it back in your own time

  6. My top half looks ok aswellm and my skin is still saggy, a bit like you have described. It took me 4 months, I went for loads of walks and started working with animals again.

  7. Ohh hunny.. keep at it you will get there!! I had my little girl 10 weeks ago and have the same problem with the bottom of my belly since i've had her i've lost 6 kilos without trying but im waiting for the weather to warm up so i can get out there an walk more. Good luck!

  8. Try the Lil Jack Workout http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKCGe2Ezr...

  9. Here's the answer you aren't going to want to hear, I'm afraid.

You can lose all the fat on your stomach, and tone all the muscles in your abdomen, but the skin on your belly will still be loose. There's nothin that can be done for loose skin except using a product like Bio Oils to help repair the stretch marks. It's either that or a tummy tuck!

  10. When I was pregnant with my daughter I looked fabulous! It must have ran in the family or something cause I gained weight in all the right places but after my daughter came out my belly went straight away and the weight was gone less than 2 weeks after having my baby. Dont worry every woman is diffrent but as for the stretch marks... Dont feel bad,I have them too :(

for the stretch marks ive heard of the bio oil and im gonna try some soon as well.

Good luck with everything and congrats on your babygirl.

  11. i lost 22kgs in 4 months, i did it by eating right, doing cardio and weights..
