It really depends on your employer and how the kids behave. I was paid $5/hour per child by my neighbors. They have two boys that are pretty rowdy and hyper, but I think my salary is pretty decent. Try negotiating with your employer in a polite way if you're unhappy with your wages. They'll probably take note of your professionalism
