Since i've seen other people's horses and comment on them. . . who wants to comment on my horses???

Question

you can be as mean as you want. . . she'll always be in my heart. she died about 2 years ago. . . and i miss her. . . but i have pics of her and me and can remember all the good times.

so here's the question:

what do you think of my OLD pony???

she's 28 years old in some of those pictures. . . and i believe she's about 26ish in the one of me just sitting on her (i never had a pic of me sitting on her, so i wanted to take one last pic . . . that was one of the last times i rode/say on her.)

she was an old schooling pony. . . so what do you think of her??

(note: the only way i know to put up a pic is link it to my blog where her pic has been for months, but i reposted it with some "new" ones i found of her)

be honest! (be mean if you want) but what do you think of her conformation/over all build?

OMG. i think she is one of the cutest horses ever. i especially love the last picture. i am usually not a big fan of ponies but she is cute. if i were you i would not believe anyone when they say she is not cute or something. she is adorable. people have different likes of horses. but be very proud you owned her.

It's almost creepy seeing a picture of you now...like, who is that?  Interesting, I'm sure you know now, with your conformation studies, that she has bench knees.  My gelding, Polish Arabian, I bought from the barn where he was bred...his sire and dam were there, so I met them both.  The dam had looks very similar to your mare, a gray,  and she had bench knees.  But, both she and the sire had performance records that were impressive.  Now, my Arab is a chestnut with flaxen mane and tail.  The sire was a bay.  My guy was rated a 9 out of 10 on conformation on the prepurchase, and on my own vet exam (I had prepurchase done by a vet in another state)...both said they'd never given a 10.  Like I said, his mom looked like your gal.  I think his mom was pretty special since she gave him to me.  and her bench knees didn't pass on to her get.  Any horse that can give that kind of pleasure to anyone for that long is perfect....she was....and there ain't nothing fugly about her.

EDIT...did you add another pic?  I just saw the winter one...no bench knees there.  I take it back.  Beautiful property, though.  In this pic she reminds me of one of our geldings whom we had to euthanize when he fractured a carpal....almost made me cry seeing the pic....funny how years can go by, and then a picture can do that.

You know at 28 she can be swaybacked, cross eyed, and limp jawed and she would look pretty good.

But she lookes real good anyways.

Oh by the way shadow your page wigged me out with all the freaking fairies. Haha. I thought I ran into a hippy. Haha

i couldnt find the pics wich sux. But one of my horses coliced and he was only 14 :(( he was a paint named murray, so i feel your pain.

I think she is really cute. You can tell she is older, but I bet she was beautiful when she was younger. He legs look like they have had a lot of wear and tear (and maybe a little arthritis). I like her little head. I'm a sucker for an old grey horse.

Its cute... but lets face it... its 28 years old and is clearly out of shape, with not much muscle and she is quite fat and stocky. It wouldn't be a horse I would buy but she's still kinda cute

Asking whether a 28-year-old horse has good conformation is like asking if your grandmothers fastest time on the mile is good. Just like people, horses age pretty visibly. I can tell you that she does look pretty great for her age!! and I'm sure she was gorgeous when she was younger! I'm sorry she died, you guys looked like a good team :)
