Since labor day is 1st, do we get paid on friday or the following tuesday?

I know if the 1st or 15th falls on a weekend we get paid that friday, but what about Labor Day this year? It's on the 1st and is a national holiday, so will we get paid on friday, or the next tuesday?

For all branches of the military, if payday falls on a weekend, or a federal holiday, the date of pay is moved back to the first weekday.  If the holiday is on a Monday, then the pay is moved back to Friday.  If Friday is also a holiday, then it would be moved back to Thursday.

If payday falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or a legal federal holiday, payment is authorized on the preceding workday. This cannot be more than three days before the scheduled payday, with the member being paid for the entire pay period.

Sweet and Simple. Friday.

Anytime a pay day falls on the weekend or a Holiday, which is a Monday, you will get paid on Friday.  If the holiday is on Friday, you will get paid on Thursday.  You always get your money early, not late.
