  1. if the NRA was ruling there would be no attempts, either backdoor as is going on now,or overt to infringe on gun owners rights so I feel your question has no merit..

  2. After the last 2 election fiascos I think not.

wonder who will buy florida in 08

  3. Not sure where you're getting this "most of us" nonsense, but I don't feel that way, and always vote.

Here's the thing, you also have to let your elected officials know how you stand on the issues during their term of office.  If you don't, you are truly not participating.

  4. Don't forget Israel.

    And no voting is useless.

  5. Its the only way to get our country back, they hope we don't vote.

  6. Assuming that were even remotely true, wouldn't electing a person of a different political conviction change which group gets his support, and thus at least subtly alter the political landscape?

  7. Probably not. The NRA is a particulary nasty group who are not controlled by good old boy hunters any more but by good boy thugs.

  8. And most of you are therefore sheep. Who in the bleep are you to speak for me?

Voting does matter. If it doesnt dont vote and then it wont cancel the vote of a person who might actually think.

  9. It is definitely still important to vote, because as soon as we give up voting, we have given up what little say we possess.

  10. The big corporations own the US.

  11. Voting is our constitutional right.  Although lobbyists and political parties have power and lobby in Washington DC and before State legislatures, every vote counts.  If you need help on an issue, contact your legislator.  We should never give up this fundamental constitutional right.
