As a Witness, I've often have made the statement, that the most scary costume a kid could wear on that night would be as a JW.

Why?  because it is amazing how many people hide from us.

This unfortunately might be a bad thing for the child.  Since they are there to receive candy.

No, that's not cool. For one thing, JWs don't even celebrate Halloween, so it isn't even logical. For another thing, that is offensive to a lot of people and rather heartless.

they don't really have a specific way of dressing. However make sure he goes out at 8am and has plenty of magazines with him. Oh make sure he can take scriptures out of context.

Only if your child understands what a Jehovah's Witness is. Definitely don't do it, if you are just wanting to dress him up this way as an inside joke for yourself or your friends. That wouldn't be right.

Sure! Grab a few copies for him of the Watch Tower along with his little Hallowe'en goodie bag and make him go knock on their doors and see how they like it!
