  1. I object to your assumption, however, I would note that there ARE a number of other people, including military people on the scene, who think things are developing correctly. You might want to read some history on the occupation of various countries right after WWII, for one example involving the USA. There were "terrorists" in some occupied countries after WWII, but with help, the countries became quite democratic and capitalistic, which generally provides the most freedom for both individuals and innovation.

  2. Listen if it's in living words in the creation of peace on earth goodwill to men or ghostly and deadly words in the creation of loss of peace on earth goodwill to men?

    What do you think?

  3. Being in the military is not a prerequisite for speaking on military matters, but it gives your opinion a lot more weight if you've actually walked the walk.

  4. I think what bothers people is the are many military people talking about the quagmire in Iraq

... and only Bush and Peterus think things are going great

kinda sends up a red flag for some of us

  5. if it is an operational matter perhaps, however a disaster is a disaster to anyone. sometimes being on the ground skews your perspective and being in the military if hindrance rather than a help

  6. On what matter is that, for those of us just tuning in?
