  1. you should read about the string theory, that's basically what it is saying--by the way, the most brilliant scientist in the world discovered the string theory and he is a Christian!


  2. just my thoughts on this.

    relativity proves that yes, space sort of curves on itself due to the mass of the [objects] in it. this is the reason why [objects] would tend to move towards planets, which have very large mass.

    thing is, we don't know yet ( afaik ) if there is enough mass from all the objects in the universe to make the universe curve on itself completely. if the universe had enough mass in it, then you could think of the universe as a sphere, otherwise, it would just extend forever.

    now, IF the universe was a sphere, then what's beyond this universe's sphere? we don't know yet. there could be other spheres just like our universe, there could be none.

    IF the universe extends forever, then I'd probably bet on not having parallel universes. but then i don't discount the possibility.

  3. I think there are different branes like slices of bread, next to us, that we can't see.

    I don't know about parallel universes.

    It is possible.
