...are they definitely going to win the NL West?

although the rockies are coming back hard to win the division, i still think they won't. the d-backs lead the division right now and if they continue playing the way they do now, the dodgers will win the division. the dodgers pitching is great acrooss the board, rotation and bullpen. if penny comes back and regains last year's form, theire chances increase. if furcal comes back, they're making it for sure. the only problem with manny is that the dodgers play in the NL and don't have a DH spot for him. so they have to stick him in the OF where the dodgers are already having problems in deciding who to play.

Nothing is a sure thing. The D-Backs, I think, are a better club. If the Dodgers get to post season, thats where Manny will help them.

I thought they would win it before they got Manny. Now there even better. I'm not just saying that because I'm not even a Dodger fan. Anyway I predicted they would get to N.L.C.S. But... loose in 5 games to the Cubs. World Series. Tigers v.s. Cubs
