What off season moves in the pitching rotation and adding bats will happen? Can I have a list of the projected Pitching Rotation, and batting lineup?

  1. I suppose the Yanks should forfeit the rest of the season and go home now that you have taken away your support.

  2. Im thinking Hank Steinbreiner will pick up CC Sabathia in the offseason.

  3. fire joe eventually, they need new faces

  4. They will be beasts next season watch.  They're going to get some big name free agents, maybe even manny.  that would be tight.

  5. CC and Mark Teixeria are both pretty logical

  6. all i know is as a new yorker (although i am a met fan) i see the yanks all the time and rhey desperately need a 1st baseman...the last like 3 years they have needed one...they have had so many with giambi, tony clark, andy phillips, richie sexson, wilson betemit, ruben sierra, gary sheffield, shelley duncan...the list goes on and on...so obviously someone like mark teixera or another free agent such as kevin millar..they also need a center fielder...melky is not the answer..maybe someone in the free agent pool such as mike cameron even though he is old..he can still hit and play defense or even maybe sign manny ..put him as a dh and put nady in center with abreu and matsui around him...and of course starting pitching..obviously everyone wants c.c. sabathia but in the end it's about what he wants and it has been said he wants to stay in the n.l....so maybe other big time aces in the free agent pool are...ben sheets or john lackey depending on his club option...either way of everything they need they defintely need a 1baseman - center fielder - solid ace...hope i helped

  7. It's really hard to tell what they'll do. They'll probably try to pick up some good bats and pitching, and cut guys like Damon and Melky.

  8. It's kind of hard to rebuild, since they have so many contracts that they can't trade. But here's what they can do to get better.

    1. Trade Matsui for a couple pitching prospects. Matsui still has value, but may lose it over time with injury problems and aging. Put Gardner in his spot.

    2. Pettitte and Mussina are free agents. They're still good, but they're old and they don't want to be stuck with a bunch of washed up pitchers in the future. Replace them with a frontline starter and another lefty. Possibly Sabathia and Oliver Perez.

    3. Keep Posada at catcher for next year. If he gets hurt or can't play catcher often, Molina is more then good enough as a backup. His defense is unmatched.

    4. Sign a first baseman, but not a big name. They don't want another untradeable contract.

    The team next year:

    C: Posada/Molina

1B: Hank Blalock (can play this position. would get injured less. low risk)

    2B: Cano

    3B: A-Rod

    SS: Jeter

    OF: Damon, Nady, Melky, Gardner

Rotation: Sabathia, Wang, Joba, Perez, Hughes/Kennedy

    Bullpen is fine.

  9. this might be a little biased due to me being a red sox fan( not a frontrunner, from the nomar days) but i think they will try to rebuild again like they do every time their season doesnt work out. to be honest, its just like the late 90's Mariners or the 116 win mariners team(not sure year). its just too much talent.  they will find something that works soon. i just think they should stop trying to push joba, make him Mariano's replacement instead. hes been lights-out as a reliever, and mediocre as a starter (like jon papelbon). they should probably get rid of arod. hes not performing up to his contract and they can get 2 great players for the price of him.

  10. Get used to it. I'm thinking they're going to lose your support again.

  11. sign mark teixeria and aj burnett, cc sabathia is a barry zito waiting to happen.

  12. They will probably go out and add $50 million to the payroll.

CC Sabathia says he's staying in the National League and wants to go out west, so everyone thinks that means the Dodgers.

Yankees will probably settle for someone like Ben Sheets.  I'm sure they'll try to add another big bat too, but it's too early to tell.

  13. SP Rotation

    CC Sabathia

    Ben Sheets

    Joba Chamberlain

    Felix Hernadez or Erik Berdard

    Andy Pettite

    Lineup

    1. Derek Jeter

    2. Melky Cabrera

    3. Manny Ramirez

    4. A- Rod

    5. Ken Griffey JR

    6. Adam Dunn

    7. Jason Giambi

    8. Jorge Posada

    9. Dan Uggla
