  1. I believe 'hypothesis' is the word you're looking for, not theory.

  2. It`s a belief and a book to keep the masses in order.

Created 2000+ years ago to create a mythical law.

People are seeing through it now and that`s why there are more and more laws made by governments.

The day`s have gone when we are (god fearing)

and , if you sin you will go to h**l.

  3. Many people do. Thinking about it, a lot of people call it a myth too.

  4. Religion: yes.  Faith: no.

All religions are imperfect mirrors held up to the unfathomable nature of G-d.  We may all be surprised come judgment day and Shiva greets us with Jesus at (its) right hand!

  5. Only in the common meaning of the word, not the scientific one.

  6. You won't get any proof, until you believe, without seeing! Then, you will be amazed!!!

  7. millions of people get their proof every day, whether they like the answers or not.

My proof is: while i believe in the big bang "theory" i wonder how there could possibly be a big bang without something/one to create it.... God.

Anyway most people have never needed proof to believe in something, it is/was their faith that kept them going.

whether or not it is a theory, depends on the person answering, a theory has supporting evidence so, a priest will have all the evidence in the world but people without faith will probably say its all c**p, as demonstrated in some ofthe above, (and most likely some of the below,) answers.

    ........ thats my opinion anyway : )

  8. The proof is in us that are saved. The Comforter(Holy Spirit).

  9. There is proof that God exist !

  10. No, theories are supported by evidence in science.. generally so are hypotheses to an extent. I'm not even sure I would go so far as to call this 'God' concept as presented by Christians a coherent and cohesive idea... it doesn't have internal consistency, it doesn't cohere when combed over.

  11. NO, BECAUSE THERE IS PROOF. LOOK AROUND.

  12. Not a scientific theory, no.

  13. Prove you exist.

Prove your ability to think and how you think and why you think and how your mind functions.

Explain dreaming and thoughts and how it is intangible.

Sure you are thinking and telling us that you are thinking, but what if you are just dreaming?

Prove you are actually alive and not wondering.

  14. I suppose you could. There's no way to prove or disprove God exists which is why we Christians have faith. I'll stick with my theory.

(And as far as peer reviewing and ignoring it, none of you atheists seem to be able to ignore it since you constantly post here. No one's forcing any of you to believe in God.)

  15. A theory and a mental illness!

  16. Scientific theory means that it is an EXPLANATION according to the available data.

Rather, we should call God a HYPOTHESIS - that is, a statement without evidence.

  17. It's little more than a hypotheses, and even that is a huge stretch.  It's actually just an unsupported idea.

  18. There might not be proof that's good enough for you, but that doesn't mean there isn't proof. Millions of people have their proof. Christianity is not science so to expect scientific proof is a bit silly.

  19. No, a failed hypothesis. Theories are backed by evidence, facts, prediction and falsifiability.

  20. What do you mean there is no "proof" that GOD as The Creator exists?

Did you ever consider the INCREDIBLE complexity of your eye, your brain, your nervous system? ... for that matter: what about the incredible complexity of single cells?

Did it take INTELLIGENCE to make a computer? ... MUCH MORESO: the human soul and body.

  21. There is proof, to begin with, you are proof. Mankind and all of creation is proof...But my faith is the evidence of things not seen and the substance of things hoped for...

  22. How could God not exist?

Then who created this whole universe? Who created you and your family and so on??

The world didnt just pop up by itself

and religion is not a theory, it's a FACT

  23. the god hypothesis... its not a theory you need some evidence for that

  24. u r alive in this beautiful world. that is the proof GOD exists.

  25. No.

Religion is being practiced, so, it excludes it self from a theory status.

God is a fiction and you are worshiping it.

    That is sad reality

  26. Yes, please do. Then, if it was a peer-reviewed theory like all other theories, it would be ignored almost instantaneously.

  27. I think I have fallen in love with you.

  28. It's not a theory but actually a drug that hallucinates followers to believe he does exists.

  29. No. It would be a hypothesis for most people, as it is not well enough defined to be a theory. For a very select few though it is fact as God prvides the proof to those who seek in ernest as did Jesus. I know from personal experience God can leave no doubt in your mind, but part of you still trys to come up with some. I am not religious, just very loving and forgiving. Within each of us though you may find Heaven and God. If you seek in ernest God will provide the Truth, I would stay away from the church though, and it's teachings.

  30. No, at best it is an hypothesis.  A theory is a well constructed description of the world, based upon empirical evidence, that makes predictions about how things will happen in the future.  A scientific law is like a carpenter's rule of thumb.  It isn't actually true, but it is very close and quite useful.  A scientific law is a close approximation to the truth.  An hypothesis is a belief, based in theory, about how a specific thing will happen.  God isn't even up to the standard of an hypothesis.  I would say God is an assertion.  As a logical assertion, such a statement could be tested for truth.  The problem is not that there is no proof of a god, but rather that there isn't credible evidence to support such an assertion.

  31. In the primitive society, mankind`s must stick together. They were no

Gods or Goddesses. They were so afraid of the sun, the moon, the wild animals, the wind or natural disasters.... Anything that were powerful. Mankind`s began to learn and adored them.

The Ancient Egyptians prayed the Sun as the God. The Red Indians prayed the Grissel Bears as their God while others the wolves. In India, the Hindus Regions in their highest grade of believes, for Gods and Goddesses, they have no status for them. Their believes should be in peoples` heart and soul. But the Hindus Religion has had 3 million of Gods and Goddesses. Every single Gods and Goddesses has had a story of their own. Their culture is so rich. These stories become the rich and cultivated ground for film makers.

The figures of Gods and Goddesses gradually come to shape in the society.

Why we prayed to God(s) or Goddesses?

For wealth and prosperities, for good luck and fortune, for avoiding natural disasters and illnesses attacking us, for peace, even for making a babies daughter or son......

The British Anthem has `God saves our Queen.`

The important of Gods/Goddesses in mankind`s history shows that in the hearts of the peoples, they need the spirit of Gods/Goddessess for

    support.

Religions can also be wars. But the teachings of religions may also has the bright side to encourage peoples` to understand each others.
