I wanted to go out with my husband but I don't want to go when it's full. I'm not bothered that they are g*y, I don't care about that, I just don't like large crowds.

  1. yea

  2. its not too too bad, i mean its now the summer and its ALWAYS busy.  best bet is to go during the week during work hours, weekends are a MESS... trust me on that!

  3. I live in the GTA, and office on occasion in downtown.  Tomorrow is Canada Day so it'll be busy over at the CNE with revelers, but that's about it; many of my coworkers are up in Cottage Country this week.  It's actually not a bad week to visit.

You should be fine; yesterday was the big parade.

With that being said, downtown Toronto is always busy to a degree...just the normal hustle of a downtown area.

  4. The parade took place over the weekend, that is when it is at its worst (for crowds).  It wills till probably be pretty busy monday (today) and tuesday (tomorrow) because it's the Canada Day long weekend, a lot of people took today off and have tomorrow off.  I'd say there would be quite large crowds for most of the week.  Try Wed-Fri, you'll probably have the smallest crowds then.

let me tell you though, I hate crowds as well, and I've been to pride weekl so many times.  The crowds there aren't like normal crowds, it's a lot more fun, everyone is so much more relaxed, and just there to enjoy themselves and understand that others are too, very respectful of others.  I've seen them stop the entire parade because an elderly woman was trying to get across the street.  It's a very nice group of people there.
