Many of them were part of the royalty but they loved the land were they born and desire to stay and help the independence. they lost those royalty titles and start a living as simple Americans, but without having a wealthy life, and through the years they had grand children, and these grandchildren also had grandchildren. and today some Americans walking around all over America have a royalty legacy but don't know it and nobody knows it either.

Just like Joseph, that was a king David descendant for 14 generations.

Do you think is there a way but truly to find out, what Americans are Royalty descendants.

  1. Of course there is.  I know I am related to a Huntsman gamekeeper of one of the Henry's of English fame and a Rob Roy household.  My family tree has been preserved very well from my father's side.

    Not every American can say that.  Most Americans family history was being born in the dirt on a farm, maybe the family records were kept in the old church in a small town and that church burned in a fire, as was the case on my mother's side of the family.  I know my Grandma was born in a small town along the Gulf Coast of Florida and the family was Scottish....but that's as far as I can go.....it's possible the great grandparents were direct immigrants straight off the boat.  And that is the same with all but 1% of American families.

    What's even more possible is that the people who came to America from England were either running away from something or punished to leave the English lands and came to a place with an open policy on immigration.  Why would they have wanted to claim their ancestry to nobility?

  2. A small percentage of Americans might be descended from royalty?

    In the UK about 90% of the native population can make that claim.

  3. it isn't taught in american schools but it was actually more of an english civil war,whilst the french & spanish joined the side of the republicans.the english had to leave there strongest troops & navy in europe as they were at war with france & spain & england itself would of been attacked if they had of taken there main force to america.

  4. There is probably a better chance that I am related to Oliver Cromwell than my being descended from English royalty.

  5. well with the way in which the royal family breeds i would say it is quite likely that the current americans some of which may have been decendents of royalty but no they would have no royal titles or anything simply because if they had stayed in america while they were at war with britain they would have been stripped of there titles for treason

  6. I think that a huge percentage of Americans have some royal blood in their veins, but there will never be a way to prove it.

    I was curious to see what American was the highest ranking in the line of succession to the British throne

    ==============================

    Hereditary Prince Peter  was born February 5, 1980 in Chicago, Illinois, United States. He is currently #94 in line for the British throne, but only #2 in line for the Yugsolavian (now Serbia) throne if the monarchy is restored. His father was born in exile in London and has never pursued American citizenship. In any case the father is married to a Roman Catholic and is not in the line for the British throne.

    ==============================

    The American of highest rank (#107) that is not in line for another throne is Nicolas David Snyder was born on 27 February 1986 at Southfield, Michigan, U.S.A.. His sister is several years older but gender takes precedence over age, so she is #108.

    ==============================

    Catherine Oxenberg, the American actress who has a reality show, starred in the TV series "Dynasty", and has played Princess Diana on 2 different TV movies, is actually fairly high on the Yugslavian line of succession, but extremely low on the British side. She is not even a descendent of Queen Victoria.

  7. No,in the same way that a dog becomes a mongrel,if it continually breeds outside it's own breed and pedigree.
