  1. Technically, we are in an Ice Age.  We are currently in an interglacial period.  The next period of glaciation will come in a few (or more) thousand years, if the pattern repeats

  2. Next week when the Klingons drop a star-burster into the sun.

  3. I hope this week, A./C is expensive

  4. Well if you believe the "Russian" scientist -- he says by about 2050 or so. What I find fascinating about the forum is the CERTAINTY of the advocates-- in the NEW science of Climatology.

  5. its not its like global warming a scam that started when Gore started running his fat mouth

  6. Quite simply ...it only takes four major volcanic erruptions( within a space of days!)  to create a nuclear winter!!! Nuff said!!

  7. Linlyons;

It's interesting that we can't go back and look at the historical record to know what our climate will do, but the high priest of globul warming, Algore, uses the historical record almost exclusively?

Hey asker, just look at the facts. We're in the middle of the longest solar minimum in history, and gobal temperature has dropped and average of .57c in the last year. The planetary temperature increases precede CO2 increases, they don't follow it like Algore said (even though his own famous chart contradicts his statements).

In answer to your questions, we're overdo. The next iceage cycle should have began more than a century ago. The iceage clock is nearly as accurate as the solar cycle, but now it ain't doing too go either, so hang on!!

  8. Ask Al Gores experts.  It wasn't many years ago these same people were concerned about the "nuclear winter!"

  9. Many of the experts were warning of an Ice Age in the 1970's.

Are the AGW "experts" really that much better than those other experts? I doubt it.

Some solar scientists believe we are at the end of the recovery from the last ice age, and recent solar data indicates we may see cooling in the next few years.

  10. I would be sort of surprised if humans are still around in their present form by then. We will either be extinct, back in the caves, or so technologically advanced we can deal with it.

  11. A)  we don't know.

    B) since we've artificially altered the climate, adding considerable CO2 to the atmosphere, we cannot look back at history, and make responsible predictions about such.

  12. Not for at least another 20,000 years, based on the Milankovitch Cycles.  The the 'Milankovitch Cycles' section in the link below.

  13. We may be on the verge of a "little" ice age. Don't be too concerned, it won't happen in our lifetime. Or will it?

  14. soon, but a little one

  15. Any day, which means any time from today till several thousands of years form now.

Just know that it will come.

  16. we don't know for sure yet,but some people say,we are already in one.because of the polar ice melting and then freezing in a cycle, its already starting.SCARY!!
