The US did not necessarily bring back democracy in Iraq.  The commonly accepted definition of a democratic country is one which has successfully undergone two election cycles.  The government in Iraq is propped up by the US military presence, and this democracy could change dramatically if the US presence were removed.

The US has no business interferring in the affairs of other countries and overthrowing governments and installing its own idea of how the world should be run.  Germany runs its own show and does not need US meddling in its business.

ANY real American would know that you are ALREADY a DEMOCRACY and IMO a better one than ours now! Yes I am American and I love my Nation but not always what my Government does.

I am sure you can agree to that.  And as far as Democracy in Iraq, that still remains to be seen if it will last with out US military presence!  Nations should decide their fate not other countries in MOST cases. It was that thinking that led to WWII!!  It never had to happen had WWI been settled fairly and properly.

To an earlier question of yours why should ANY Nation today pay back debts from then now? I think after 50 years it is enough.  Many owed the US after the war for rebuilding and we were never paid  back but you know what, we shouldn't be. We helped with the destruction be a liberation or not and once you make that decision than you have to follow through all the way and not expect to be paid back.  Did WE ever pay the French back for the American Revolution? NO! Did we keep our promises to the Native American Tribes? NO!

So where I love my country it is not perfect. No Nation is perfect. To say Germany is not a Democracy is like saying England has no Queen still!

What made you think they were not a democracy? I use that word loosely too because their are several forms of Democracy I have seen.

So unless you just awoke from a 63 year Coma they have been a Democracy for a long time! Why would you ask about a President that is dead earlier if you think they are not one? Democracies have Presidents, tyrannts and such do not.

OK, so I have to call your bluff. You are not America, and you're trying to make Americans look bad by being a troll and asking ignorant questions. Here's how I know: I'm a US native, and and English teacher and judging by your poor grammar, I'm 100% positive that you aren't a native speaker. In short, I'd advise that you stop insulting people, go make some friends, and stop posting these ludicrous questions. unfortunately not...large parts of the US Army left Germany now because American couldn't afford all the soldiers...and so many Germans working for the US Army lost their jobs. Hope America's economy is able to stop their downward spiral soon...
