  1. Baseball get no respect on ESPN.  I'm surprised some third tier NASCAR race isn't playing.

  2. It's only because the Yankees and Mets aren't involved in a pennant or wild card race.

  3. football is just starting and you had all year to see a game and it may not be an important game but that doesn't mean espn hats baseball. that's actually there favorite sport to cover.

  4. Don't worry, on New Years Day there will be an MLB Network.

  5. Because it wasn't two East Coast teams playing..seriously though, ESPN have been pre-empting baseball for several years now pushing games to ESPN 2 or dropping them all together.  It was a major issue last time their contract with MLB was up for renewal and probably will be again.

  6. This weekend seems to be all about college football. Last year they had a good balance....

  7. Yea ik its starts 2day i guess i was looking foward 2 watching monday night baseball

  8. It's because ESPN lost some of its baseball rights when TBS added their Sunday afternoon games. ESPN also lost the Thursday DayGames and the Friday games except for in September during the pennant races.
