Question

nationwide series become so exciting? i bet nascars ratings are up due to these false rivalries people are creating and talking about, what do you think...usually anything that happens in nationwide is never brought up.

i don't think they are false rivalries - drivers do get mad at one another. just look at tony and kurt over the past year or so.  they are, however, overly hyped rivalries.  everyone's made to believe that at any moment one or another of the drivers is going to whip a u-turn and start head-on toward his rival in one mean game of chicken.  

and that's not how it works.  most of the drivers would rather get another driver back by beating him on the track than by beating ON him, at least once they've calmed down after a race.

tonight i decided to watch my first nation wide series race ever, i've been watchin the cup series only for a few years but never watched busch or nationwide but after watching clips from last week i figured, why not watch it next weekend. so i guess there ratings have gone up atleast by one viewer. :)

has always watched busch and nationwide has always found it exciting!  but yes there rates are up beacuae the sport is growing!

The Series has been developing and will continue to develop up-and-coming drivers. Just take a look at Denny Hamlin, Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, Martin Truex, Jr., Joey Logano, and Clint Bowyer. In the last three years, each of these drivers, all currently in the Chase for the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series, honed and developed their driving skills in what will be known as the NASCAR Nationwide Series. So it’s clearly serving that purpose while keeping the tradition of providing young drivers the opportunity to compete against the NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers. I think the mix of rookies and veterans from the Cup series creates a good blend and makes for exciting racing.

I felt excitement in the air the last few races. Before the excitement were so dull I almost fall asleep, but I'm still a diehard Nascar fan. I think it's Joey Lagano. I think that's how you spell it.

I don't know but I used to watch it just because I wanted to watch a little racing on Saturdays...but it's definetely been exciting lately and I get all riled up over it like with the Sprint Cup series now lol.
