cause yahoo seems to think water polo's not good enough to cover on their sports page or any page. no sports website seems to cover it. Water polo takes more skill, talent and athleticism than any of the sports covered in the USA.

  1. Since when was water polo a sport..... its a sissy sport played in water... water polo doesn't take more skill, talent and athleticism than any of the sports in the usa even wrestling takes more...  what about NFL that takes way more skill, talent and athleticism than sissy water polo... you have no clue what your talking about

  2. use these website for your water polo needs

    http://www.fina.org/

    http://www.waterpolo-world.com/o.red.c/h...

    http://www.waterpoloplanet.com/

    knock yourself out

  3. since water was declared a radioactive substance and banned to the mountains of nevada to live in barrels deep in a cave. stupid water.

  4. Water Polo is an activity not a sport.

  5. All these people trying to make fun of water polo probably cannot swim themselves and therefore dont realise the skills involved.

  6. when u get drunk and play golf in the rain.

  7. ignore all of the ignorant answers above. i don't know if its the hardest sport as i have not played every sport possible, but i do know that it is very difficult and dangerous. The reff can't see what goes on under the water so people can get scratched, hit, kicked, held under the water, and even have their suits ripped off. Yes, I have experienced all of these things and much much more! By the end of a game all the girls on my team and on the other team came out of the pool with bruises and scratches, and if they were lucky their suits would be intact. In dozens of games someone ended up with a broken nose from either the ball (which is rock hard) or a person hitting them in the face, usually it was the goalie getting hit by the ball in the face. I believe that it should be covered by everything that covers football and basketball etc....swimming dosen't get enough recognition either.

For all of the people who don't think before typing or are just plain ignorant. Think before you diss something you haven't tried before. I'd like to see you tred water an entire game and have the cr*p kicked out of you while doing it

  8. Well, I play waterpolo myself and it is a sport that requires a lot of skill, but not necessarily more than other sports. I guess snooker takes a lot of skill too :) Anyways, it's an Olympic sport, so I agree that it should get coverage on Yahoo's sports page.

But since the only people watching waterpolo games seem to be the ones playing it (and parents), I can see why it is not considered to be popular enough for extensive coverage. So there's a mission for you here. And with your question you made quite a start already! Keep it up :)
