Since when was Tim Sylvia one of UFC's best fighters?

Looking on Yahoo's Featured News Page it says "Fedor Emelianenko destroys one of UFC's best fighters in a historic win".

My question is when was Timmy boy considered one of the best?

He was considered one of the best in UFC's heavyweight division. The heavyweight division isn't that great so it's not biggest compliment. However dana said for himself once fedor beat sylvia that sylvia is serious competition.

And who ever called Arlovski washed up is an idiot. Did you see the fight he put on at affliction?? He has now one 4 in a row and trains with one of the best boxing coaches. UFC wanted to re-sign arlovski badly but he went to affliction for more money.

Fedor has a special confidence when he fights with tall guys.Silva is a great fighter.His fighting technique just dint matched with fedor.He should have to been more agressive.Given a chance to tim silva he can defeat randy couture in a rematch.

Thats What Im trying to figure out, the heavyweight division (in my opinion) is kind of S****y anyway,He holds wins over fighters like brandon vera and Andrei Arlovski..Fedor is the best, They problee say that because he's a 5 time champ..I read that he made 800K from his loss to fedor recently.lol.Fedor got 300k.But hey that must mean something..

Right around the same time time Maxim magazine voted Rosie O Donnel  into the hot 100.  Sadly the heavyweight division of the UFC has for the most part been a joke. If you want to call a washed up Arlovski and a 5 foot 9 Monson serious competition then ok. Anybody who thinks that a rematch between Tim and The Natural would be different a second time around needs to go back to watching WWE.
