Isn't this why women's b*****s must be covered?

  1. umm.. Courts have already ruled that law's that outlaw women from going topless but enable men to go topless are illegal and unconstitutional.

So in reality there are no law's outlawing women from going topless. Just that most women don't want to go topless.

Besides other than the beach how many dudes go topless?

    It is a non-issue.

  2. No way! I love looking at the guys buff chests - especially after a surf, mmmmm... don't take that away from me!

But seriously, it would be great for women to be able to walk around bare-chested too.... I don't have a prob with it, but I think it's just not an option in today's society (unless you live in an African tribe), because men would just gawk all day long and I really don't want that kind of attention.

My partner sees my boobies all the time but still goes gah gah when I walk around topless.... It's a guy thing <sigh>

    :-)

  3. Women's b*****s are covered for 2 reasons. The original reason and the new reason:

    -Original reason: Religion

    -New reason: Tradition

Some traditions are hard to break. Plus, since so many women have been brainwashed by feminists to think all men are constantly drooling over their bodies and lusting over them, they would prefer to cover up.

If it became ok for women to be topless.... the women who choose to take advantage of it will be called "s****s", SIuts" and "inviting rape".

As for men's six packs. There is no reason for men to cover up because men don't have a problem with women drooling over our bodies.

    Enjoy my Avatar ladies :)

  4. they dont have to be....its only full nudity thats banned...and I believe that the reason for that is a)kids (parents may not want them to see a naked strange adult)   b)public disorder

I dont think its got much to do with lust...just the disrupution it would cause.....oh and most women dont lust after 6 packs in the same way....its a socially constructed desire, whereas mens desire to for b*****s is totally inborn, after all, they are seeing how much milk a woman would be able to produce and how much oestrogen she has in her system.

Mike T says that feminists have "brainwashed" women into thinking that men drool over them....no....life experience has taught women that this is the case....why else would men shout "give us a blow ***/sh***g" etc on a hot sunny day? Some men think that all their problems with life and women are the responisibility of feminists.....yeah right, they just want to blame it on someone else, rather than look at themselves, and feminisms not even popular anymore....most girls where Iive and at my old  University, think its outdated trash, actually, But not me lol

  5. why would you want to punish us!

Would you want only men with 6 packs to wear shirts? Thatt would never fly

  6. No.

So will shorts be banned next?

  7. Haha... so true! My answer is no. Either women should be able to go barechested or both men and women should have to cover their chests.

edit: Actually Mike T, the reason women have to cover is because it's against the law not to. Also, everyone looks at a woman's body as uncivilized/risk to purification.

  8. NO WAY unless the man is fat!!!

  9. Women have more to show.

    If I see a man's abs I don't feel the need

    to touch them.

Unlike men who may feel the need to touch us.

  10. LOL. Do you seriously see connection between male stomach and female b*****s? Does your own midriff area requires protection of the law from unwanted female attention? LOL. You would be the very first man complaining of a little extra attention. Most would simply gobble it up.

  11. yes

  12. Yes its disgusting!  How dare they do that!  What do they think they are, volleyball gods?  Why young women are liable to do foolish things...like laugh, have fun, smile or for Heaven's sake, act normal. Egads...

Women's b*****s were covered because I think othe women complained.  Let the guys have fun, who cares.  But you have a good point.

  13. Yes. That plus I don't want to have to look at the flopping manbreasts and swollen beer belly.

    Brrrrr!!!

  14. Haha-- I agree!!  Well, not really, but I understand the sentiment behind the question.  People CLAIM that women are unaffected by men's bare upper body and that is just not the truth at all.  Perhaps we've been trained to say less, or it was less acceptable for it to be made known that we can find a good-looking man's upper body to be distracting and lustful.  For whatever reason, there is this myth out there that women are unresponsive to built/handsome male bodies and there for it is alright for men to go bare chested but not women.

I'm personally a firm believer that if men can go around without a shirt (in responsible and acceptable environments) then so too should women.  And if they won't let women go bare chested in these environments (say the beach, pools, or parks for sunbathing), then there is no reason that men should be allowed to go bare chested.

Where is the equality in that?  It should be an equal law (either shirts or no shirts for both).

And for those who say women won't do it--FINE!  Most women won't.  And that's fine.  No one is saying that the second the law is passed that women are going to strip off their shirts and run down the streets half naked.  All I'm saying is that we should be given the same and equal choice.  If women don't do it, no biggie-- but the point is that they COULD if they so chose.

  15. dude I live in maine, of COURSE there should be laws against this!

  16. I wish I could mow the lawn without my shirt on like guys. Indecent exposure laws are annoying. S'just the human body afterall.

  17. I seriously think guys should keep their shirts on. I get offended when I guy parades himself around in front of me with his shirt off.

  18. I'm actually not attracted to abs.

Just doesn't do it for me.

  19. I'm lucky if I see a six-pack on the streets every 10 years. Give me a break.

  20. Eh, no, but I don't have a six pack. I wouldn't be such a vain a*****e to show it off, though.

  21. ICD-9 get over it!  Only if they need a man bra.
