My dad hardly ever checks the oil and water in his truck. He checks my moms oil and water in her car once a month for her so why does he just check the oil and water in her car for her and hardly ever checks his?

Maybe he's just more worried about something going wrong with her car and her being put in a bad situation? Maybe he doesn't care about his car or thinks he can deal with it if something goes wrong?

Maybe he does but he does it when he is at the gas station or at work or so on and so on.
