on a sine graph, y=sinx, what is the crest, amplitude, trough, and peak of the graph? or what is the difference?

  1. the crest is the highest point (it occurs when x = π/2)

    the amplitude is the distance from the mean level to the highest point , and the amplitude is 1

    the trough is the lowest point (it occurs at x = 3π/2

    the peak = crest
