Sinead Russell clinches Women’s 100m back-stroke crown in Toronto: 2011 Canada Cup
Sinead Russell outperformed her challengers during the second evening session of the 2011 Canada Cup, in Toronto, Ontario, on Saturday, November 26.
More importantly, Russell claimed Women’s 100m back-stroke title in the arena by bashing the finishing barricade in a breathtaking time of 1 minute and 00.25 seconds. Meanwhile, Genevie Cantin earned silver medal in the respective race by banging the finishing
divider in a time of 1 minute and 03.18 seconds and the third title went to Sama Cheverton in a mark of 1 minute and 03.48 seconds.
Mari Couillard and Seann Mitchell finished at fourth and fifth spots in the respective race by claiming the finishing wall in a time of 1 minute and 03.80 seconds and 1 minute and 05.21 seconds, respectively. In addition, Vane Taillefer wound up sixth in
a time of 1 minute and 05.23 seconds.
Cassa Brassard settled at seventh spot in a mark of 1 minute and 05.52 seconds. Finally, Jessika Craig finished eighth sby claiming the finishing wall in a time of 1 minute and 05.74 seconds.

Swanston in a time of 56.55 seconds. Jonat Carlisle earned fourth place in a time of 56.59 seconds, while Charl Boldison settled at fifth spot in a mark of 57.17 seconds.
In addition, the Women’s 400m freestyle title was taken over by Sama Cheverton in a winning blot of 4 minutes and 12.43 seconds. Britta MacLean finished second by clicking the finishing barrier in a time of 4 minutes and 12.51 seconds, while the bronze title
went to Lindsay Delmar in 4 minutes and 15.80 seconds.
Moreover, the Men’s 400m freestyle crown was clinched by Frank Despond in a scintillating mark of 3 minutes and 57.01 seconds. Ray Betuzzi grabbed silver title in the respective meet by claiming the finishing divider in a time of 3 minutes and 57.42 seconds,
while the bronze title went to Abdel Khalik H in a time of 3 minutes and 58.45 seconds.
