Singapore 'TODAY' newspaper is getting popular?

Why is this so?Is the straits times seem to more popular than 'TODAY'?Or is it the contradict of it? Personally,I relish reading 'TODAY' newspaper.The straits times is so huge that it is literally troublesome to read it!

'TODAY' is better than The Straits Times is my perspective!Recently,it is changed into a smaller newspaper.It is light and thus,it's easy to carry,unlike that Straits Times! Furthermore,I want to cite that it has more vocabularies than The  Straits Times,it will be productive for learners of English.

TODAY is more easily carried around to read if you are on the move, but STRAITS TIMES definitely have much more contents that you can't find in TODAY. This is a paper for those who don't have much time to go into details, basically a summarise version of ST.
