Singer, Model 533, Guiding Fabric

I was sewing a straight stitch on my machine, that is in excellent condition, recently serviced and all the sudden it stopped guiding my fabric.. the needle just goes in and out and the fabric won't move forward. Is there something wrong with my machine?
