If it is the model I am thinking of you have to wind the bobbin in the top load where the thred is you just follow the arrows for the bobbin. You move the bobbin spindle out (left) and load the empty bobbin then you snap the bobbon closed (right) it will automatically set the machine up for winding and you just push the foot peddle and it will wind and stop automatically, then you open the bobbin (left) and pull it off of the spindle. Thred the machine like normal
