Singing question power, intination, and beauty?

I am trying out for this chorus and i need some help practicing. the director told me to work on power, intination, and beauty? what does this mean and how can i work on it?

  1. power: bigger range, control

    initiation: go out there and get what you want! don't be afraid, be bold

    beauty: this speaks for itself, just work it!


  2. Power: Your director probably thinks your voice is too airy or soft, work on having a stronger voice.

    Intonation: This means you are not in tune. If you cant sing in tune, well, that's pretty hard to fix. Make sure you are always in key, and PRACTICE. Practice so you are never unsure of a note.

    Beauty: This one is self-explanatory.

    P.S. I am sure that the director meant intonation, not initiation.

  3. idk. But first, just sing all the time. That will help.
