I'm 23 years old and almost 12 weeks pregnant and not with the father. I'm currently living at home with my parents, but due to family arguements and such (none of which concern me) I'm finding it really difficult keeping hold of my sanity and really wish to move out. I only get paid £130 a week from my current job and am having trouble finding another job. What benefits am I entitled to and would the council be able to get me accomadation soon?

  1. Oh definitely try to apply for food stamps and when ur there ask for financial assistance they will help you and they will make the father pay child support.

  2. you can get lots of help. i am 23 and have 2 kids. i get food stamps free health care and money to pay bills or what not each month plus really cheap day care and in ohio it is called section 8 housing which goes by your income. and the utilite comps will give u  a little break too. And most on't know but i have verizon 4 my home phone and since i get a health card from the gov, i only pay $8.00 a month 4 my phone!!just always ask if they have any special rates for low income familys!! i hope this helps you!!
