  1. For these cases of metals, you have to look it up in the Reactivity Series for metals. If the single metal (not in the compound one) is less reactive, no reaction will occur.

    ie. if Cu is less reactive than Ag, Cu + AgNO3 will no result in a reaction.

    The chart should be located in your textbook or notes, unless you were required to memorize it.
