  1. Your hub will have a fixed gear on the other side.  You need to remove the wheel and turn it around so you are using the other side.

Sheldon brown has a lot of info on fixed gear bikes.

  2. A freewheel like this: http://www.universalcycles.com/shopping/...

You may want a rear brake.

The local bike shop will have you one your way in very few minutes.

  3. If you bought the bike as a singlespeed/fixed gear, then all you *should* need to do is more the rear axle forward slightly in the track-ends so you can remove the chain from the rear sprocket. Fit a similarly sized sprocket (if you do not wish to alter the length of the chain) onto the fixed side of the hub (it should have 2 sets of threading) and fit the lockring to stop the sprocket from unthreading. Place the wheel's axle back into the track-ends and put some tension on the chain to make sure it doesn't slip off the chainring.

If it is a ready-made SS/FG, the wheel *should* already be properly dished so that you have an acceptable chainline on either side of the wheel.

Have fun and take it slooow if this is your first experienced of riding fixed!
