1. all online games could work

may be some very good 3d games would not

  2. Simple way of answering this, a single core processor has only one "brain" as you can call it, in that it relies on one processor to deal with all the stress of what you do normally in your comp, while a duo core processor has two single core processors working as one, reducing the load by half, kind of like sharing your work with a friend, less time to do it, and less of a load to handle, therefore increasing the production rate of the processor. Note in mind, a duo core processor is really two chips in one, so dont think it is two processors you have to install. Go with an intel duo core processor, wont fail you. Also, the comp you showed us real bad, wont last five years, the max you can hope for is 2-3. In the gaming world, anything in your comp which exceeds half a year is considered old already, as newer and better processors, graphic cards, motherboards are released, so dont expect anything from what the ebay person is selling.
