I am a 23 year old single mom looking for a good paying job. does anyone have any ideas where i should go to apply. i have sent my resume to a few places around me but no one has called on it. As of 4 days ago i have become single. I was a stay at home mom of my 3 year old for all her life. So i have not worked in some time. however i am willing to do what i have to do to make ends meet. I have a $650 truck note and all the bills you get with a house. Therefore i need something that pays WELL. i was thinking at a chemical plant but what can a girl do and how do i apply? I am located in just south of Houston TX if you know anything in this area. thanks so much

  1. Hi,

Try Freelance job provider sites. You can find lot of works. You can select a project in your experience field and bid. As a new provider you need to bid with low cost. Once you complete few projects then you can bid some higher cost. I recoment the following sites.

You first register in this sites, and search the projects. If you find any of field you have experience then bid the project.

    http://www.elance.com

This site provide 3 connects for a month for bid( 3 bid for a month). If you need to apply more bid register in this site. $9 for 1 month with 15 connects.

    http://scriptlance.com

    Free registration and biding.

    http://getafreelancer.com

    Free registration and biding.

And more Freelance sites are there. you can find some of 30+ sites from the following my web site.

If you start bid, first you fully understand FAQ on that site. Then start.

    Good luck

  2. I'm a single parent as well and have made the most money being a server. I've heard bartenders make great money as well. If you don't have experience finding a good paying job might not be that easy. You'll have to start at the bottom to make it to the top. Might need a couple jobs at first.  Best of luck it's not going to be easy but you can do it!=)
