Single mom with no place to live.

Question

Does anyone have any advice. I'm a single mom who had to transfer to Indianapolis with my company 2 months ago, my company put me up in a hotel but it has now come to an end and I cannot use their resources any longer. I don't have enough money to just up and get a place within a day. Does anyone know of a shelter my daughter and I can go to for a couple weeks until I can get into an apartment? I don't want to go to the one downtown where all the drunks are as i don't want to expose my daughter to that. I have a stable job that pays me well enough, but I just don't have enough saved up to move out. If anyone knows of a safe place to go, please let me know.

Hey girl, Rock up to your local church or pastor and tell him your dramas and see what he can do. They are great and with a little un they will get you somewhere to stay until you are on your feet. If you are not religious doesn't matter Priests, ministers and pastors are all excellent as they help you when you are down and when you are back on your feet you can pay them back by doing the same for someone one day. start calling the local churches....regardless of your religion or theirs they will help..also try a phone book and look up the Salvation Army or shelters in the yellow pages...good luck and god bless
