  1. why do you send your child to day care? day is $10000 a year which is enough money for a child to go to school for a few years. there are some special websites that help out single moms like you. you just need to google them (single moms support) and they should help you out. and also try getting another job. maybe go to centrelink for yourself to see if you able to get money for yuor child i think you could be able to,.

  2. Welfare/Job and Family Services does have a program setup to pay a percentage of daycare costs for working parent(s) or students.  The percentage is based on your income and they will pay it to daycares registered with them.  Also you need to make sure you setup childsupport if that is an option for you because it really does help with the expenses.

  3. dont listen to the others . go to your local health dept or the food stamp office and they can help you . it goes by your income .

  4. Use a flexible spending account to help manage day care costs.  Depending upon your income, there could be $1,030 in annual tax savings.

  5. Try to see if your county have a Early Head Start program. This is the number to the one in Dalkab County maybe they can give you the number to your county. The name is Partnership for Community Action (404)929-2463 website pcaction.org.Also try 211. Hope this help single moms have to stick together

  6. Call your local human services office. The same place people go for food stamps, there are state funded day care and day care assistance programs you can get into that are based on your income and the cost of the day care.

  7. I'm glad that you're being responsible and caring for your baby. Don't listen to the nonsense some of these other people are spouting. Thy're no better than anyone else.

Before your baby is born, go to your local county Economic Support (food stamp-medicaid, etc) office. It may be called something else in your area. There are more programs that you may be eligible for, such as food stamps, cash assistance while you are unable to work when the baby is born, daycare assistance, etc. Just set up an appointment with your worker, or make a new application if you don't recieve ny benefits. Ask your worker "What programs are specifically available for me as a single parent, for assistance?"

Also, don't forget to apply for WIC. They provide food for pregnant mothers until six months after the baby is born, as well as formula and food for low income children up to age five. It sure can come in handy.

Good luck to you! If you need any assistance, please email me.
