  1. go to the doctor he could have a deviated septum and could need it worked on...

  2. Go to somewhere like Wal-mart or Wal-greens and get him a Sinus-Rinse kit.  It's basically a squeeze bottle with some little packets of salt.  You can find them on the same aisle as the regular sinus/allergy medicine.  (Don't get what's called a "neti pot."  It'll be right there with them, but it doesn't have enough pressure to rinse that stuff out.)  Read the instructions, but basically, you make up the salt solution, lean over the sink, and then use the bottle to squeeze it up one nostril.  It will fill up the sinus cavity and come out the other nostril.  I know it sounds horrible, but it's really not.  You breathe through your mouth, and you don't get choked or anything.  It washes all that nasty green gunk out of your head, and makes you feel SO much better.  Looks pretty gross, though.  LOL   I started using one right after Chrismas, and had a sinus infection and never even felt bad.  It keeps where you can breathe and aren't so stopped up.  I use it every day, and it has also helped my allergies tremendously.  Hope this helps!!  It's been a lifesaver for me!! :)

  3. Potassium iodide helps but you must not use it on a regular basis.  It is suitable for a short term one off remedy.

  4. get a netti pot- they've been used for centuries in india- google it- works every time for me and a lot less expensive than doctors

  5. The ony things that really helped me was when my Dr. told me about a sinus wash that will kill bacteria.

    you need

    distilled water

    sea salt

liquid chlorophyll and colloidal silver from the health food store.

in a glass mix 1/4 cup water with a pinch of salt and heat to body temperature.

add 5 drops each silver and chlorophyll and mix.

using a large dropper (like one used for infant medication) drop 2 full droppersfull into one side of the nose while laying down.

Turn the head and let it drain out the other nostril. Be sure to have paper towels handy.

The silver kills the bacteria and there are several hundred kind that can live in the sinus cavities and anti biotics don't get rid of them all.

Do this twice a day for a week, mixing up the mixture fresh each time.

Then do it once a week for maintenance.

There is nothing in this that will hurt you, and it cured me.

I do not have to take claritin, or antibiotics anymore.

    best wishes
