so like almost a month ago i went to a doc bc i had some pressure on my checks..they did an x-ray and says i have a 'small' sinus infeciton ..only in my checks..mind you i can still breath thru my nose..and when i blow my snot isnt yellow or anything its clear..so i get put on a small dosage of antibiotics for liek 10 days...and i go back and its still there a little..so then i get some nasal steriods..that made me want to cry ..for a week..(i forgot to say this doc i went to was german)...and like i said its been almost a month and my checks feel tender when i touch..im not congested..and i have no yellow snot..

so is it still possible the sinus infection is just lingereing a little..or allergies? i dunno..im kinda getting angry about it..and i have to fly in like 3 weeks..from germany to boston..and i dont want to be in pain..i go to the doc on wed..

anyone have any thoughts? or shared a similiar situtaion..i am scared to death to fly if i still have a sinus infection ...even if it is a "small" one..

  2. You need to get this sinus infection dealt with before you fly..it's an inflection see another doctor you will have nothing but pain if you fly.

  3. you should be fine. you might feel pressure though while traveling because your sinuses are clogged. Thus putting more pressure on your ears.

So you want to be chewing on something constantly throughout the trip for example gum.
