Siphon or Automatic ?

Question

Does anyone own one of these and can you tell me if you have to "siphon" it or if its automatic ?

i have that!! =D its siphon and it has a self siphoning thing inside of it. you just plunge the big end in the water and go up and down put the small end in the bucket so the poo and extra water can come out.

You have to manually start it, either by sucking on the end (not my favorite method) or submerging it in a bucket of water until all the air escapes the hose.  Then put your thumb over one end and put that end into the tank, releasing your thumb.  The siphon will start and you can begin vacuuming.
