i have been getting loose (soft) stool from the last five months. and my weight is nearly 14Kg lost. in my blood test, it is showing T3 = 3.1ng/ml, T4=19.3ug/dl and TSH=0.13uiu/ml.

does thyroid is the problem of weight lost ?

or any other problem exits?

  1. A normal TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) is .3-3.0  

    Yours being at .13 is low, meaning your thyroid keeps producing too much T3 and T4.

    So to answer your question, YES! Absolutely! A common side effect of hyperthyroidism is weight loss and diarrhea...other side effects include heart palpitations, anxiety, jittery/anxiousness or agitation, moist skin, and feeling warm. Your metabolism is in overdrive because the thyroid is responsible for it.

    See an endocrinologist if you are not already doing so.
