United are currently at the top of the league table at the moment with a three point advantage, a draw would see them maintain that lead whereas a win will probably mean the end of the league title race considering that Manchester
City will need United to lose both of their next two fixtures after the derby encounter. Sir Alex has been talking up the hype before the derby but United did win at Etihad in the F.A Cup earlier on in the season.
