again this season. However, Ferguson was also hesitant in confirming whether or not the player’s contract be renewed at the end of the season.
Hargreaves arrived at Old Trafford from German outfit Bayern Munich in the summer of 2007 for a fee of £17 million. His first season with United went by somewhat smoothly with the midfielder making 34 appearances and scoring two goals in the entire competition.
However, his recurrent patellar tendinitis problem kept him sidelined for most of the 2008-2009 season.
Even after undergoing surgeries on both knees, the Englishman did not quite recover. He spent most of his second season in the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/United-States-c3034 for his rehabilitation and finally returned to Manchester United in September for the start of the new campaign.

League giants at the end of this season and is highly unlikely to be offered an extension.
Sir Alex Ferguson confirmed the player would not be featuring for the remainder of the season, he said while speaking to reporters, “I don't see it at all. It is a shoulder injury. It has just brought his season to an end. He has just carried bad luck all
the time he has been here. I am pretty sure he won't be playing this season.”
The Manchester United boss revealed the player’s future would be discussed at the end of the season, he continued, “His contract is up at the end of the season but I don't know what is going to happen. (United chief executive) David Gill had a discussion
with the boy last week. But no more than that. We have to make a decision.”
Hargreaves is yet another player who will be unavailable for selection for the FA Cup semi-final against Manchester City. Striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wayne-Rooney-c36736 and defender Johnny Evans are out with suspension, while Darren Fletcher is out with a chronic virus. Midfielder
Anderson could make an appearance for the Red Devils though, having recently featured for the reserve side.
