The Manchester United manager has admitted that Nemanja Vidic is set to return to full fitness for Manchester United and he will be a part of their pre-season outings after the Serbian centre back recovered from a dangerous
knee injury...
Vidic was the bedrock of Manchester United’s defence until he sustained a nasty knee ligament injury in United’s UEFA Champions League encounter against F.C Basel. The Serbian centre back suffered the knee injury back in December
of 2011 and has not played since then for the Red Devils. Sir Alex Ferguson’s men were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League as they went onto lose their encounter against F.C Basel.
Not only that, the Red Devils also had to play a majority of the second half of their Premier League campaign without their experienced defender and their first team captain. United lost the league title race to Manchester City
in the end but only on goal difference as both the teams ended level on points after winning their respective matches on the final day of the previous league season.
United now embark on a pre-season tour of their own as they prepare for the upcoming Premier League season which will be a tough test for them given how http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 have reinforced their squad and Manchester City are looking threatening
with the depth in their ranks. Sir Alex will be glad that Vidic has returned to full fitness as it gives the former league champions, a much more certain back four and a much more experienced one as well.
Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jonny-Evans-c19085 is still just in light training. They’re big losses at the moment and they will miss the start of the season.
He added, "Rafael is away [with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rio-Ferdinand-c31173 and Patrice
Evra, though. That will be the back four on tour. Hopefully we don’t get any more injuries as it would leave me a bit short."
