Sir Alex Ferguson delighted by Javier Hernandez’s form
Manchester United boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, is making sure that he takes special care of his young prodigy, Javier Hernandez, as he looks to guide the player through his maiden season for the Red Devils.
The 69-year-old normally allows player returning from Internatioanl duty extended time off, but the young Mexican sensation was a special case. Sir Alex asked Hernandez to join the team immediately following the conclusion of the World Cup last year. The tactician wanted the player to get used to the conditions and get acclimatised with the team. The move was expected to pay dividends but not even Sir Alex would have imagined the impact Javier Hernandez has had in his very first season at Old Trafford.
The Mexican sensation is currently enjoying rich vein of form, scoring 9 goals in his last 15 games. Chicharito, as he is nicknamed, has now scored 16 goals this season, 10 of which have come in the Premier League.
