Manchester United’s manager is fretting on the fitness levels of his young players as the international break comes to a close. Sir Alex Ferguson has come out and stated that he is worried about his players who are on the international
duty. There always seems to be a risk of physical fatigue or injury when players are on international duty for every football club. Despite the easy going nature of international football, the weight of expectation is not only a mental burden but a physical
one too which propels the players for running that extra mile when representing their country.
Several clubs have borne the brunt of injuries incurred on international duty. For example, Bayern Munich were involved in a massive bust up with the Dutch F.A as the Dutch national team played an injured http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arjen-Robben-c6521 in the World
Cup. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wayne-Rooney-c36736 and other English players on the other hand have been lucky enough not to sustain serious injuries whilst on international duty. Many Premier League clubs are usually reluctant to release their players for international duty but many managers
do advise the national team setup’s to practice caution with their stars.
Manchester United’s Wayne Rooney, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 won their latest EURO 2012 qualifier against

The long standing Manchester United spoke to the media recently about the international break as he stated, "You've just got to accept it. There's nothing you can do about it. Over the last year, we had Paul [Scholes], Gary [Neville],
Ryan [Giggs] and Edwin [van der Sar] who had retired from internationals so we had the benefit of having those players for weekends. Now those players, bar Giggsy, are away from us so most of the players are going to internationals.”
He added, "We have to keep our fingers crossed that they come back healthy. Sometimes we're lucky, sometimes we're not. It's not in our hands. The only benefit is the internationals are now Tuesday fixtures and that gives us an
extra day to prepare for weekend games." Manchester United next face off against Bolton at the Reebok stadium in their upcoming Premier League tie before hosting http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 at Old Trafford on 18th of September, 2011.
