The Manchester United manager has affirmed that he is happy with his two new signings namely http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Shinji-Kagawa-c33364 and Powell as both of them are talented footballers who can add quality to the Red Devils’ line up for the coming league
season...
Sir http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson has affirmed that both of his new signings bring something different to the Old Trafford setup as both of them are talented players. Manchester United have added Shinji Kagawa to their squad from Borussia Dortmund
after the Japanese midfielder impressed in his exploits for the German league champions over the previous two years.
Kagawa has been instrumental in Dortmund’s challenge to Bayern Munich in Bundesliga and now he has an opportunity to take on the challenge of playing for Manchester United in the English Premier League.
Sir Alex revealed that United had kept a keen eye on Kagawa’s progress at Dortmund before going in with a bid to lure him away from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904. On the other hand, United’s manager also reflected on Powell’s arrival at Old Trafford.
The Englishman who has played for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 at the U-18 level has been making headlines in the media for his rise to prominence with Crewe as an attacking midfielder.
Both the players who can play in central midfield positions or behind the front striker can bring a different dynamic to United’s squad which was limited in its creative potential last season as the Red Devils lost the league title
to Manchester City on goal difference.
Sir Alex said, “First of all they're young and we've been scouting them both for quite a while now. Shinji obviously has a higher profile than Nick, because [Borussia] Dortmund have had such a fantastic time in the last two years
and he came to prominence through that.”
He added, "We were watching Nick from when he first came into the Crewe team last November and did very well. It got towards the tail-end of the season and we got more serious about him. We scouted him a few times and decided to
do a deal before the play-offs, which proved the right thing to do.”
