The Manchester United manager is banking on his former player Mark Hughes’ team Queens Park Rangers to gain a vital result at the Etihad stadium in order to force Manchester City to slip up and gift the title to Manchester
United...
The relegation threatened Queens Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314 are in a precarious position to bring a twist to the title race one final time this Premier League season as Sir Alex Ferguson’s team are pinning their hopes on them to gain a draw
at the Etihad stadium. United and City are at the top of the table at the moment but the Citizens are in the lead due to their superior goal difference.
Both the Manchester clubs are level on points but only due to the Red Devils woeful performance at the Etihad stadium a week ago where they lost to City by a goal to nil. Before that United had an eight point advantage which they
blew away courtesy of their draw against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson’s team recently defeated Swansea City by two goals to nil at Old Trafford but now they need Queens Park Rangers to come up with a divine intervention
in the title race otherwise the trophy is surely headed for the Manchester City trophy cabinet.
Sir Alex said, "There could be a Devon Loch. You never know. Stranger things have happened in this game of football. They're red-hot favourites but we've won the title on three occasions on the last day and we don't mind doing
it again. They (City) probably have two hands on the trophy. The crowd will be right behind them and they will be into the referee as they were doing against us."
He added, "QPR need a point and they're fighting for survival. The whole future of the club could be resting on the game and I only wish Sparky was playing. But Mark knows his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 all right. He was sacked by City in a very unethical
way and he'll remember that. Manchester United are serial winners."
